CONTROLS

WASD/Arrow Keys: Movement and jump

K: Fireball Spell

L: Water Slash Spell

Space: Ultimate spell based on current element type (fire: fullscreen explosion, water: bubble shield that'll convert incoming damage to health)

Esc: Pause menu

TIPS

You can hurt yourself if you're within the fireball blast radius, cast it wisely.

When you're low on health, you can cast water ultimate and blast yourself with fireball to quickly regenerate health.

You'll need to accumulate 5+ consecutive hit of the same element damage to cast the corresponding element ultimate.

Any damage you take will reset the ultimate bar.

In each level, you'll need to reach the kill goal as displayed at the top left corner in order to unlock the portal to next level.

Red and blue potion will increase your ability while green potion will restore your health.

Picking up red potion will make your fireball stronger but it's not fun when you accidentally hit yourself. This is the price you pay for getting stronger

Archer will resist a portion of damage coming from the same element type. Bat will take full damage regarding the damage type.

Smart archers will transform into another element type when below certain health threshold!

This is our game submission for juice jam ii, we have a blast working on this project as it's our first collaboration together and our first game jam. With limited experience in game development, we're able to produce something we're quite satisfied with in a short timeframe. We hope you enjoy the game as we did!
